Foro Comunitario de Alzheimer:

El sábado 21 de marzo, de 11:30 am a 2:00pm en la sala multiuso de CARING Adult Healthcare Services, localizada en la 407 West Delilah Road, Pleasantville NJ 08232. Se realizara el Foro Latino de Alzheimer.

El principal objetivo de ese foro fue educar e informar a la comunidad, acerca de la enfermedad de Alzheimer y los problemas derivados de ésta pérdida de la memoria.

Luis Rodríguez, presidente de La Casa Dominicana de NJ-INC., dijo a este medio que este foro de de Alzheimer esta enmarcada en el programa de trabajo comunitario que desarrolla la institución que dirige.

Rodríguez, concluyo informando que este foro Latino de Alzheimer se realiza gracias al apoyo de la Asociación de Alzheimer y al trabajo tenaz de las siguientes instituciones comunitarias: Caring Adult Healthcare, Royal Suites and Rehabilitation, Atlantic Care, Bayada Home Health Care, Rite-Aid, Lego el Correo y La Casa Dominicana de NJ, INC.

The ESL of La Casa Dominicana of New Jersey offers adult, non-native speakers of English the opportunity to improve their Basic English language skills so that they may increase their participation in the larger society or prepare for citizenship.

Classes

Classes provide two different ESL levels of instruction: Basic ESL and Intermediate ESL. These levels follow the competencies model, which integrates the four language acquisition skills—listening, speaking, reading and writing—in an interactive classroom setting.
