The president is the leader of the executive branch or the Chief Executive of La Casa Dominicana (The Dominican House) –is a New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation, The president is elected by the members to serve for a term of two (2) years.

It is the job of the President/CEO to enforce the bylaw of the organization. The President/CEO shall preside at all Executive Committee, General Membership, and Emergency meetings. The President/CEO may sign, with the Secretary or other “La Casa Dominicana”-(The Dominican House) officer, any deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts, or other legal instruments authorized by the Executive Committee. The President/CEO shall in general perform all the duties incident to the office of President/CEO, and such other duties as from time to time may be authorized by the Executive Committee.
The president/CEO submits the annual budget to the board directors and approves the entire annual calendar.
All Members of the board director are elected to serve for a term of two (2) years. A total of seven (7) members comprise the director body.
The purpose of La Casa Dominicana- is to foster and encourage the involvement and interest of the community in New Jersey in civic, sporting, housing, legal assistance, daycare professional, social, educational, charitable, national and international activities to be able to celebrate our culture, preserve our culture, preserve our roots, and to take an active role in the sensitive problems of our community.
Both Spanish and English shall be the official languages of La Casa Dominicana – (The Dominican House), NJ INC.
The organization shall have two classes of members. The designation of such classes and the qualifications and rights of the members of such classes shall be as follows:
General Member - shall be any person, in the State of New Jersey and Associate Member - shall be any other dues paid member.
Individuals shall qualify for membership by payment of current dues and be otherwise eligible for membership. Each General Member shall be entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to a vote of the members at the annual meeting. Membership in the organization is not transferable or assignable.
Regular meetings are those which occur on a monthly basis or as determined by the Board members at any location within the Atlantic County Area. These meetings are open by invitation to non-members as observers.
The Emergency meetings are any other meetings of the membership approved by the Board members upon notice duly given and the Annual meeting shall be convened by the Board of Directors.
Luis Rodriguez is the current President / CEO of La Casa Dominicana.  Rodriguez is a medical doctor; he studied at the Technical University of Santo Domingo “UTESA”, he has a ​​ Diploma in Family Health at the Catholic University from Santo Domingo “UCSD”. Before he came to join our community, he was the president and founder of the National Multiple Services Cooperative of the National Union of Dominican Nursing Services. He had born in Santo Domingo Dominican Republic.  Actually he lives in Atlantic City. Where he has been living for the past eight years.

Doctor Rodriguez was responsible in creating  ​​the bylaws of the organization which were required for submission to the IRS, so to make the requests of the law 501(c) 3: in order to make La Casa Dominicana a nonprofit organization.
